Who We Are
This policy describes how Starlene Bennin (Broker Associate, DRE #01730188) and Ashlyn Windsor (Realtor, DRE #02224221), licensed under Chameleon, dba Red Hawk Realty (DRE #01109566), handle personal information through this website and the tools our team uses. Red Hawk Realty is the supervising broker for our real-estate services. This policy covers visitors to this site, clients and prospective clients, and the operator application our team uses to do its work.
What We Collect and Why
Information you give us. When you submit a contact or inquiry form, request a home valuation, or sign up for our newsletter, we collect what you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, and any message or property details. We use it to respond to you, provide the real-estate services you ask for, and (for the newsletter) send updates you can unsubscribe from at any time.
Information collected during real-estate services. As we work with you, we may collect the information a real-estate engagement requires — contact details, property information, and, where a transaction calls for it, financial details (see “Sensitive information” below).
Operator accounts. Our team members sign in to our tools with a work email address and an account identifier, used only to authenticate them and run the application. Our team app collects no location data and contains no location features.
Sensitive Information
Some real-estate work involves sensitive financial information — for example, figures relevant to financing or a transaction. Where we collect it, it is encrypted both in transit and at rest, is accessible only to authorized team members with a need to see it, and is shown only when explicitly requested. Our team’s mobile app is built so this sensitive information is never stored on a phone or tablet — it is available only through our secured web application.
How We Protect Information
All traffic to and from this site and our tools is encrypted in transit using HTTPS, and sensitive fields are additionally encrypted at rest. Access to client and account data is limited to authorized team members and protected by authentication. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.
Service Providers
- Vercel — website hosting and file storage.
- Neon — our database.
- Resend — sending email (responses, confirmations, and our newsletter).
- Anthropic (Claude) — powers this site’s automated FAQ assistant, which processes the questions you type into it, and internal drafting tools.
- Daily.co — video meetings, if you schedule a video consultation.
- Google — embedded maps on certain pages, and, when a team member enables it, one-way synchronization of our team’s own calendars (not client data) to Google Calendar.
We share information with these providers only as needed to operate our services, and they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies that are necessary to run the site and to keep team members signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to real-estate brokerage activity, after which we delete or de-identify it. You may ask us to delete information we are not required to retain.
Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request access to or a copy of it, to request correction or deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us using the details below; we may need to verify your identity before responding.
Children
This site and our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. When we do, we will revise the effective date above; material changes will be reflected here.
